Caribbean Islands- The Beautiful Island Of Antigua

Whilst it is difficult to believe that everyone isn't familiar with where Antigua is, we'll start with some facts. Antigua is a Caribbean Island, and is the largest of the English speaking Leeward Islands. It is the larger and more commercialized part of the country of Antigua and Barbuda.  Antigua has all the popular elements of a holiday such as beautiful white sands and crystal clear turquoise waters. But it has much more to offer. The capital is located at the north-west of the island, in close proximity to the VC Bird International Airport, and is also has a large harbour which is able to accommodate big cruise ships, helpful if you are searching for a cruise destination.

The best time to decide Antigua as a honeymoon destination is possibly between January and June, though July to December isn't half bad either, although a little wetter. Year round the temperature is pretty constant around 30 degrees, and honestly the wetter months aren't really worth worrying about. If you like festivals then late July sees the yearly Antigua Carnival, a riot of sound and color, very much worth being there at that time even if it means getting wet.

Honeymooners are likely to base their honeymoon destination on romantic beaches, and of course Antigua has a beach for every day of the year. Long Bay in particular be notable because you can walk out to the coral reef the sea is so low and the color defies description. If snorkeling is your thing then the best beach could be Darkwood beach down in the south west of the island.  If you are still in the early stages of organization with regards to your wedding or honeymoon then it is necessary not to hurry into booking something before you've considered all the options available to you.
